if you mean:
x/(x+5) - 5x/(x^2-25) then you can take common denominator:
= ( x(x-5) -5x ) / (x+5)(x-5)
= (x^2 -5x -5x ) /(x^2 -25)
= (x^2 -10x ) /(x^2 -25) ~

x/x+5 - 5x/(x+5)(x-5)
taking lcm
=[x(x-5)-5x]/(x+5)(x-5)
=x^2-10x/x^2-25

x/[x+5]-5x/[x^2-25]
=x[1/[x+5]-5/[x+5][x-5]]
=x{[x-5]-5}/[x+5][x-5]
=x[x-10]/[x+5][x-5]
