Big Bang theory or String theory? how did they determine formation of atoms and coumpounds?

We're still sorting most of that out.

The thing about science is that it's not afraid to say, "you know what, we're not sure yet." And the exact mechanisms as to how we got from bang to here are still being worked on. But that doesn't mean God said, "let there be light," it just means we don't know.

If you've never heard of string theory, then you're in ZERO position to comment on big bang.
