A 100-kg block is pushed up a 30 degree incilne that is 10m long. If the coefficient of friction betweeen the block and the incline is 0.1, what is the constant force parallel to the incline that is required to move the block from rest at the bottom of the incline to the top in 3 seconds?

Okay; i am attempting to find Fn by using mgcos(theta)=(100)(9.81)cos(30)= 849.6N. Then i do f=(coeff. friction)(Fn)=(.1)(849.6)=84.95N.
Where am i going wrong here? I don't think i fully understand this problem at all. Please help me.

I went fishing the other day got bored and started musing. In certain cycles the moon causes the sea to rise due to the pull of it's gravity. I suppose that all things on earth would be pulled by this same force therefore weighing less during this same cycle.. Here's my plan---buy several tons of gold at high tide and sell at low tide when it would be heavier. Any of you potential investors see fault with this? I think I might start going to the meat market at high tide also.

The best solar panels currently available are about 13% efficient in converting sunlight to electricity. A typical home will use about 40. kWh of electricity a day. Assuming 8 hours of useful sunlight per day, calculate the minimum solar panel surface area necessary to provide all of a typical home's electricity.
Energy rate of sun = 1.0 kilowatt per square meter of surface area.

Thanks

is it possible, that the magnetic fusion of the poles can be the spark that creates life , I was trying to work out binory numbers and the simplisty of the creation of life became transparent I so wished I cpould expalin, but I cant put it into words, if I could I'd be a song writer
just a simple spark not inlike that that creats an egg and a sperm to divide! it easy when you see the picture in my mind I just can explain it
