The farm is situated in Kerala, SouthIndia. Airconditioning was an option but running costs are high. As relative humidity is high (90%),heat stress develops and we cannot achieve and maintain the high production levels in Jerseys and HF cows. Is there any cheaper alternative to create an artificial atmosphere with a temperature range of 20 to 23 degrees celcius and a relative humidity(RH) of 50%?
