Converting Celsius to Fahrenheit

C = 5/9F - 32

9/5C = 9/5(5/9)F -32

Multiplying both sides of the equation 5/9 by its reciprocal 9/5

9/5C = F - 32

9/5C + 32 = F - 32 + 32

Adding + 32 to both sides of the equation

9/5C + 32 = F This is the Fahrenheit Formula

Converting Fahrenheit to Celsius

F = 9/5C + 32

5/9F = 5/9(9/5)C + 32

Multiplying both sides of the equation by 5/9 reciprocal 5/9

5/9F = C + 32

5/9F - 32 = C + 32 - 32

Subtracting - 32 from both sides of the equation

5/9F - 32 = C This is the Celsius Formula

Finding Celsius Degrees

Fahrenheit equals 80°

C = 5/9F - 32

C = 5/9(80 - 32)

C = 5/9(48)

C =5 x 48 = 240

C = 240/9

C = 26.6666667°

Finding Fahrenheit degrees

Celsius equals 26.6666667°

F = 9/5C + 32

F = 9/5(26.6666667) + 32

F = 9 X 26.6666667

F = 240/ 5 + 32

F = 48 + 32

F = 80°

OK, if you're converting from Celcius (C) to Farenheit (F) it's 9/5(C) + 32.
EXAMPLE: You're starting with 10 degrees celcius. Your equation would look like this:
F temperature = 9/5(10) + 32.

If you're converting from Farenheit to Celcius it's the opposite, 5/9(F) - 32.
EXAMPLE: You're starting with 78 degrees farenheit. Your equation will look like this:
C temperature = 5/9(78) - 32

degree centigrade to farenheit
(degree celsius * 9/5) + 32

for example
degree centigrade = 40 c
degree farenheit = (40*9/5) +32
=72 +32 = 104 f

Multiply the temperature in degrees C by 1.8
Add 32 to the result.

For example
30C x 1.8 =54
54+32= 86F

you may no longer use a char to hold a decimal selection, use a drift or a double. int substantial() { double conversion_rate = 0.621371 ; double kph ; /* tell consumer what this methodology is going to do */ cout << "enter a selection in KPH to have it switched over to MPH" << endl ; cout << "enter KPH: " cin >> kph ; /* study enter into variable kph */ cout << endl; if (kph < 60 || kph > a hundred thirty) { cout << "errors. Values could be between 60 and a hundred thirty KPH" << endl ; go out(a million) ; } cout << kph << " in miles in keeping with hour is " << (kph * conversion_rate) << endl ; /* format print and do calculation */ cout << (kph * conversion_rate) << endl; return 0 ; }
