a page of a school yearbook is 8 1/2 in. by 11 in. The left and right margins are 1 in. and 2 1/2 in. respectively. The space between pictures is 1/4 in. How wide can each picture be to fit across the width of the page? i need a verbal model for this problem please.

9(2)(squared). Do u square the 2 and then times it by the 9 or do u times 9 by 2 and then square it?

We have reason to believe that during a paternity test for a child custody case that the mother may have replaced the alleged fathers swabs with her own since she was not tested. She worked at the lawyers off the test was done at and the envelope with test was handed to her unsealed. The test for the mother was missing from the kit. Is it possible to tell if the DNA submitted on the swab was from a male or female? Would that require additional testing or does anyone know if that is part of the standard DNA paternity testing?

I cant think of the word or exactly what it means and its driving me crazy.
EX: when you are standing next to your friend and you find out that you have the same thing wrong with you (I'm not thinking of contagius either) you would say 'no its not_____.'
Its a science term that happens with plants or animals. (i think)
