I read an article that says that the fossils of Crocodiles are identical to present-day Crocodiles. I know that evolution is suppose to be a slow process, but no change after 65 million years! The evolution theory has too many holes in it to be so widely accepted. Plus there is too much evidence against it.

I love animals and I want to work with them as a career. I don't know if I want to be a vet (since im not so strong with biology) but I want a job that works with exotic animals like tigers, cheetahs, and the likes! I seen ideas like being a Naturalist (but I don't know if thats actually a career) or an actual Vet or anything!

Any ideas? Suggestions?

I do well in my science classes when it comes to individual work/reading/homework, but when it comes to hands-on work, I'm always the slowest in the group! I'm constantly having to ask my group questions, like "Oh, what are we supposed to do" "What is this used for?" "What was the measurement for whatever" "How do I set this up?" "Should I do this"? I don't know what it is, everyone else seems so much more take-charge than me, and I'm kind of sitting around writing down what everyone else is writing, not participating at all. Consequently, I am excluded and no one has me do anything. This is not good if I plan to be a doctor.

How can I learn to "get with it" and be more independent when doing in-class science experiments that may require assembly of tools, etc. Because I know I'm irritating the people I work with.

So I believe in the Theory of Evolution. A few co-workers and I were talking about the subject and came to a new question (new to us and our discussion anyways); when does adaptation stop being adaptation and start being evolution? I would like to think that adaptation is not genetically transferred from one generation to the next where as evolution is. Through natural selection or some mutation we evolve, right? What do you think?
