We may still be developing physics. Einstein was standing on the shoulders of giants. Newton was a genius among geniuses. People don't realize that almost every modern technology goes back to the creation of physics and calculus. Read wikipedia about calculus and Leibniz, many claim Leibniz drew many of his conclusions from Newton's notes anyways.

newton was loved Mercury. When he died he had 10x the lethal dose of mercury inside his body. He was a maniac...but he did make the 3 laws.

but without newton, einstein wouldn't be able to work.....so...we wouldn't have the laws of thermodynamics! we wouldn't know about gravity...the apple woulnd't have fallen on his head!
