Hi. First off I'm in school in the library doing research for another class, but they have wireless and so I decided to ask this question on my laptop. My 7th grade biology class will study Evolution later in the semester. I got in trouble with the teacher because I called it nonsense and told him that I had more important things to do with my time than waste it on that stupid theory. Like most girls I want good grades but not at the expense of learning useless stuff. I believe that life is too complex to have been started by a simple process moving to more complex life forms. I think the biblical account makes a lot more sense in that a creator started it all. An Orthodox Rabbi (I'm Jewish but Reformed) that works with teens at a local Orthodox Shul and is a very learned man says Evolution has been disproven by lots of scientists. He says that DNA analysis disproves Evolution. So why does the school district force us to learn something simply for political correctness.

I saw on www.aquarelle.co.uk that for a bouquet having a diameter of 30 cms one needs 32 roses, for one of 25 cms: 27 roses and for one of 35 cms in diameter 37 roses.
How do I determine the diameter for a bouquet of 12 flowers? I used a proportion formula like this 25/27=x/12 and I get only aproximate values of 11.

The new rules being purposed to the sturctural design of tall buildings makes me begin to question if such buildings will still be economical in the future. For example, NIST and several other government agencies just purposed to require that buildings over 4 stories tall include a load of 288 psf to exterior walls.

Evolutionists believe that progressive, evolution occurred in small, incremental steps from mutations (genetic, copying mistakes) which were preserved by natural selection because they provided a significant survival or reproductive advantage. In the evolution of the vascular system, blood would be no use without fully, evolved blood vessels and vice versa. Both of these would be of no use without a heart to pump the blood, which itself requires a pumped blood supply, as do the brain, lungs, other organs and muscles etc. So what evolved first?

Imagine that you are in the vacuum of Space. You observe a particle passing you at near to the speed of light (C).
You then observe another one passing you also at near C, but travelling in the opposite direction.
If both occurrences just happened to happen at the same time, there would be a collision; right.

1) Newton would calculate the closing velocity to be the sum of both speeds; in this case almost 2xC

2) Einstein would say 1xC (as nothing can travel faster than C)and so the Newtonian answer must be wrong.

Therefore the nagging Q is: -
Wouldn't the two particles have to "Know" that a light-speed collision is about to occur so that they can slow down sufficiently to satisfy Einstein?
