Probably Niels Bohr was of the opinion that God can play dice also. Experiments show that if ther are two slits ahead, An electron fired from an electron gun can decide thru which slit it should go... can that mean stones have life, cars have life, houses have lives, probably ther is an element of Divinity in everything around..? Physics is coming to Philosophy or what?

A package is dropped from a passing plane(moving in the horizantal direction) and produces a projectile motion as it is falling to the ground. If it takes the package only 49.92 seconds until it hits the ground, how far above the ground was the plane when the package was released?

Call me someone who "lives in a cave" but how does running water work? When I turn on the tap, water comes out. Is there some hydraulic thingy to all this?

This question is out of boredom and curiousity.

In x-y plane, draw multiple touching circles of 1 inch radius with centre at even numbers i.e circles of 1 unit radius at (0,0) ; (2,0) ; (4,0) etc.. similarly at (0,2), (0, 4)… (2,4), (2,6) etc. filling all quadrants.

We wish to pack entire x-y plane with pixels having dia d1. Assume 100 pixels pack into 1 unit radius i.e 100*d1 = 1 inch.

Each pixel is a progressive shade of black. At Circle centers, pixel is 75% black. At periphery of circle, its 25% black i.e. shade progressively reduces as it radiates out until it meets the line radiating from adjacent circle.

e.g. lines from (0,0) and (0,2) will start at 75% from their respective centres; meeting at (0,1) where pixel will be 25% black. In between the shade is continuous progression from 75% to 25%. As you will note, lines from (0,0) and (2,2) radiating towards each other will meet at (1,1) which is outside the circle, so the shade of pixel at (1,1) will be less than 25% (but in the same ratio of progression)

I believe its B, can't be negative? because of the -log [H+] equation, the -log turns the answer into a positive. Is it correct?

Who's asleep and dreaming you and I up and giving us life while that "thing" or whatever is asleep. Its unusual, this "thing" is programming our life to give us the impression we are alive and doing our thing! When we fall asleep (whenever that is), it means that "thing" is awake and is going about it's daily life and we're forgotten till it goes back to sleep!
No! I don't watch tv or movies!!! Its this feeling I've been having lately. What do you think about this? No! I don't drink, smoke pot, take drugs or anything else. My system is clean!

We know the answer is 6 quarters and 10 nickels, but what is the equation that is used to solve the problem?

A very intelligent MD friend of mine tells me that pt's who have had a high fever and resulting damage often, later along, start unexpectedly going into system failure one system at a time...due to a common mistake most MD's make.

The mistake is forgetting the pituitary gland's involvement. They see low TSH levels, thinking thus that all is going along well...but missing the pituitary gland, ultimately to the patient's demise.

Is this true? Can you describe more fully what he meant? Or direct me towards any articles on the subject? Any insight would be valued, even contradiction.

I have a friend who suffered a fever of 107F due to meningitis and septic shock. He made an amazing recovery (as the MD documented a 9% chance of survival and told the parents their son would die) and is getting better in rehab. I am his RN. I can slip an article in the chart with a note and let his MD's peruse. My friend is doing so well, I'd hate to see things turn around...

Thanks!
