I understand that people have different standards for how much proof they need, before they believe in something. What I don't understand is this.
If the major proof of God's existence is old records and eye-witness accounts from 2000 years ago, how do you justify believing in those and totally disregarding witnesses who claim to have met other gods from other religions all over the world.
