We established in a previous question that if you had two paralell lines, and if you followed them for enough that you would (north) eventually have the lines meet. My thought is that if you were on the equator that this would work. Exactly half of your line north, and half south of the equator, or your lines would cross, earlier on the shorter route and later on the longer one. Example if you were one mile from the pole and you set up two one half mile paralell lines they would not meet at the pole?

The question is have I lost my mind?

As a corollary to this, is the value of the lift force up to the point of stall a linear function of the angle of attack or based on the trigonometric sine of the angle of attack? I post these questions in a sincere wish that confusion within these technical studies be eliminated including my own.

I live in a 1,000 sq feet apartment without air conditioning here in Toronto, which can sometimes reach 35C during the summer. The cold tap water here is around 7C. If I fill a 100L plastic bathtub with this water and replace the water whenever it warms up to 20C, how long will it take to cool the entire unit?

I believe they are used to detect certain types of cellular activity. However, doesn't radioactivity within healthy live cells pose a threat to them? Isn't there a chance that they will mutate the cells or even kill them? Why do we use this is medicine even though we no it could be dangerous?
