Okay - I call them potato bugs, but apparently I'm wrong. What's the proper name for those little grey armadillo-like insects that curl up into balls when you poke them? You can find them just about anywhere in the midwest and northeast of the U.S.A., and I grew up calling them potato bugs and poking them. But I have no idea what they actually are called. My friend calls them "Roly-Polys," if that's any help.

I think it was the second landing on the moon when one of the astonauts said there is a powerful light hitting the moon from earth. And then said it clip the landing craft clip off some of it big sparks or molten metal from the picture I seen and then said you down there on earth Im going to get you for this he said it on the radio transmisission.

The technology is getting better and better, but it doesn't seem like there's much of a market (at least here in the USA, except as expensive vacuums like the Roomba).

What would you say is the biggest factor regarding robotics and its use/popularity?

Price? The technology isn't where it needs to be? Practicality? do people not "need" them so there's no demand? (also, if you feel this is the case, how can we make them more useful?)
