Add the two equations together:

3x + y = 6
3x - y = 0

(3x + 3x) + (y - y) = (6 + 0)
6x + 0 = 6
x = 1

3x + y = 6 ----> 3(1) + y = 6
y = 3

Coordinate is: (1,3)

add the equations...

3x + y = 6
3X - y = 0
--------------

6x + 0 = 6

X=1!

If x=1 the 3x+y=6 becomes

3(1) + y = 6
3 + y = 6

y = 3

3x+y=6 or 3x=6-y
3x-y=0 or 3x=y
therefore, y=6-y or 2y=6 or y=3
and
3x+3x=6 or 6x=6 or x=1

are you asserting x^a million -x^2 = 0 ? then x(a million-x)=0 then x=0 or a million-x=0 then x = 0 or x = a million are you asserting 3x^a million - 2x^2 = -a million? then a million + 3x - 2x^2 = 0 then -2x^2 +3x + a million = 0 no longer able to ingredient, use the quadratic formulation -b + or - (sqrt(b^2-4ac))/(2a) so plug in a = -2 b = 3 c =a million

y = 6 - 3x
y = 3x
so
3x = 6 - 3x
6x = 6
x = 1
if you plug that in to one of the previous equations,
y = 3(1) = 3
so the coordinates are (1,3)

3x + y = 6
3x - y = 0

6x = 6
x = 1

3x - y = 0
3(1) - y = 0
3 - y = 0
-y = -3
y = 3

ANS : (1,3)
