I'm interested in pursuing an engineering career but don't have much knowledge of what it actually is like. Please tell me in general what kind of fields are available, their annual pay, and what I can expect on a typical day of work.

Thanks

Straightforward question...do you or do you not believe that extra-terrestrail life (ET or even microscopic bacterial life) exists? Why or why not?

i was recently reading the book angels and demons and noted the part about antimatter, and how the scientist created his own mini universe, i was even more shocked when i went onto the website of the scinetific lab that was mentioned and found out that what the book said was true. ok consider that the mini universe the guy created say in a million years evolves and is able to have its own life. so that life would have to call the scientist god, that got me thinking what if we are just an experiment from another scientist? maybe even a kid in an advanced lifeform created us for a class experiment?

I keep hearing an Discovery Channel, National Geographic channel and all kinds of radio programs that it is possible. Scientists believe that Mars was bigger and it exploded sending astroids into space with bacteria which was martians. Then we evolvd into these martains and we are the real martains. Does it seem possible to you? It does to me. Please no put downs from christians saying stuff like "the bible is the only truth" and crap like that. I am not a christian and I am not addressing hard core christians.

I'm sure there are hundreds of other likely cantidates, even compressed air would work. I was looking at a spray deodorant can, and after spraying some ants around my house, at a can of Raid, and both contained petroleum distillates. The internet is full of information and stories, hence the information super highway nickname, so 5 good minutes would lead to a pluthera of stories about accidents such as this. Take for example, high school kids showing off by lighting mists of Axe deoderant on fire. How does this end? Not to well. The propellant is eventually ignited fast enough for the flame to catch up and eventually engulf the flammable material inside, causing a huge fireball. Accidents such as this can be stopped, why aren't they being stopped? If petroleum distillates have a different purpouse, but can be replaced, please tell me. Thanks!
