Your question is confusing and you may get confusing answers too.

But if you are sure of how your question looks like in an equation, then you can get a scientific calculator to solve for it. I'm pretty sure you know how to use one because you have reached that level of engaging in this kind of problem.

And if you can clarify your question first before submitting here in this forum of Yahoo! Answers, I'm very sure that you can get clearer answers here as well. And yet, if you are just testing the wits of others submitting this as a puzzle, you will certainly get different views.

Still, if what you mean by your question is like this:
[ 2 * sqrt (3) * sqrt (7) ] - [ 5 * sqrt (3) * sqrt (7) ]
then:
= [ 2 * sqrt (3 * 7) ] - [ 5 * sqrt (3 * 7) ]
= [ 2 * sqrt (21) ] - [ 5 * sqrt (21) ]
= (2 - 5) * sqrt (21)
= (-3) * sqrt (21)
= (-3) * (4.582575695)
= - 13.74772708
or approximately:
= - 14

I can't tell what you mean.
Use sqrt for square root.
"2 the square root of 3" Do you mean 2 times sqrt(3)
Is this your problem?
2sqrt(3) + sqrt(7) - 5sqrt(3) + sqrt(7)
= (2-5)sqrt(3) + (1+1)sqrt(7)
= -3sqrt(3) + 2sqrt(7)
Are there parentheses anywhere?
Or is this what you mean?
2sqrt(3)sqrt(7) - 5sqrt(3)sqrt(7)
= 2sqrt(3*7) - 5sqrt(3*7)
= 2sqrt(21) - 5sqrt(21)
= (2-5)sqrt(21) = -3sqrt(21)

since they both have the square root of 3 and the square root of 7 I believe the answer is just -3_/3_/7

factor out the sqrts and solve
sqrt(3)sqrt(7)*(2-5)
-3*sqrt(3)sqrt(7)
-3sqrt(21)

your question does not make sense-you need to have a sign between all the different square roots - does "and" mean multiply?
