Think about it our population has more than tripled in but a few years, and most of it is due cause of all these break throughs in modern medicine. People are living longer, small infections aren't killing us so easily. Our chances of survival hav grown exponentially. But I mean all of this is leading us to get to a point in wish we may not have enough food, resources, energy, or clean water to keep living. We would have killed ourselves. So do you think modern medical advancements will keep us alive long enough for us to Kill the earth and ourselves with it?

There is a dead rabbit or somehting in the bushes right outside my front door. I need to clean it up, but I can't get near it without getting nauseous! If I wait a few days, will the smell be less potent? It's been in the upper 80's and low 90's here... not a good situation! Thank you so much for any advice you have to offer!

Ok here is an interesting one. What is your theory on this??

I have a theory about aliens; I believe that they are humans, who have come back in time after a few thousand years to see what led to the way they evolved,

There have been to many sightings and reports to not think that they are a part of this world. I mean they are said to come and take cows, water, humans, embryos, and other stuff, they leave crop circles that we understand, like communicating with us,

So my theory is that they are people evolved, and I think they mean us no harm, just that they now have the technology to come back and see what we are like and not leave any of their technology behind as it could be disastrous, and maybe just leave clues as to what we will be like in a few thousand years.

As with past languages, our languages will be lost and replaced with new ones, so they wont be able to communicate verbally, just through common symbols & signs
What do u think???

I'm sure everyone's felt that pain in their chest when something horrible happens in your life, like being dumped by your true love, or someone in your life dies. But I'm sure everyone has also felt that light feeling you get when everything in your life is going right and everything is making you smile and be happy. My question is, what exactly are we feeling when our "heart breaks"? and also what is it we're feeling when we're extremely happy?

Has anyone done any studies (Or know of any studies) about the relationship between diet and lifespan in the House Sparrow? (Passer domesticus)

I'm interested in whether inner city House Sparrows that eat mostly chips / fast food live any less longer, or are any less healthy than perhaps suburban sparrows which may have a more cereal/seed mix in their diet.

Just curious, as fast food is generally not good for us...!

In a dark room, I flick on the light switch. Light, traveling at the speed of light, goes from the bulb to the wall. I do not beleive it is possible for something to go from 0 to speed of light instantly. Therefore, the speed of light changed over time - acceleration! How long(short) does it take to go from 0 to speed of light? And is this acceleration constant?
