This question was on my test and the answer was 3,272,500.

A tank is in the shape of a right circular cone of altitude 25 feet and base radius 20 feet with its vertex at the ground. (Think of an ice cream cone with its point facing down.) The tank is externally braced to prevent its falling over. If the tank is full of a fluid which weighs 50 pounds per cubic foot, find the work done, in foot pounds, correct to the nearest hundred footpounds, in pumping all of the fluid out of the top of the tank.

I know that the Volume of a cone= 1/3(pie)r^2h
I tried working the problem in the same manner as the spherical cylinder in the book except I used 1/3(pie) as opposed to just pie. I think the problem is my calculations of the radius being incorrect. The definite integral I came up with was

25
Int (1/3)(50)(pie)x(40-x)^2
0
as my r^2 of the ith interval was (40ci -ci^2)

Again help is greatly appreciated.

Some of the early high efficiency ones had 2, and the old wind chargers had many, but what is it about 3 that makes it the modern choice?

The way I understand it, a cloud is a high concentration of vapor. I mean, it seems to me like the water vapor(or particles, whatever) would have to be spread throughout the sky evenly. What keeps them in little areas to form clouds? And for that matter, what are the minimum requirements for clouds to form? Does it depend on humidity? Temperature? Why can it be 99% humidity and cloud-free? Man, I really wonder about clouds. This is a follow-up question from my last question, also about clouds.

I have read several articles and other things that talk about the past, present, and future in terms of years. If the vast majority of scientists don't believe that God created the universe why would they believe in Jesus?

If BC means before christ and AD means after death why use them if their beliefs lead elseware? I understand that these acronyms have been used for a long time. With that being said it would be hard to change the worlds view on this.

So who first thought of using BC/AD as a way to define years? Could this person have been religious and among the community it took hold? I am religious and so I am just curious.

Why wouldn't time just begin and continue. It starts and then it stops on a year, and from then on is called AD. So After death, Wow! Someone must have been important to consider all years from the point of his death to AD. The points before that are also noticed as the came before he did.

Anyone want to expand or speak your peace?
