This plant is in the office I work in and we were trying to figure out what it was....does anyone know? The leaves are broad and are really dark green with a lighter green in the middle and it is about 3.5 feet tall. The picture i have set as my picture for my profile is a picture of the leaves.

it is not hosta, not money plant, not ficus, not rubber plant. it is Dieffenbachia. Your picture is very clear. google the name and u will see the exatly same plant. take care since it is highly irritatting and toxic when chewed - not good for u if children or pets are around. there are microcrystals of calcium oxalate that cut in the tongue or throat like razors and it swells and can kill. really deadly, Beautiful but only if no kids and pets are around

In California I had a lot of flora and enjoyed all of them the watermelon plant and one i do no longer remember the call of it became a great pink plant with eco-friendly in it and it grew so properly perhaps it became a coleus I enjoyed it and that i enjoyed the rubber tree and the ficus and this massive leaf plant that became called a fox tail philodendron or something like that yet now I stay interior the desolate tract and can't improve something so i like those that i do no longer could desire to water interior the residing house outdoors i like those i can consume and my herbs, sparkling is appropriate!

no not varigated Dracaena. definitely Dieffenbachia. very sturdy ornamental plant that can be grown indoors. true bout the microcrystals and the irritating sap which is a xerophytic character. inflorescence (cluster of flowers) resembles the Anthurium. infact both belong to the plant family Araceae, which is a monocot
