For example, if you was fortunate to somehow stand on a remote planet, say 50 light years away, armed with a super powerful telescope (patent pending - just send me £10 million english pounds to my swiss bank account and I will gladly give you the design) would it be possible to see all events on earth occuring 50 years ago in detail?

One of those silly questions... mind you, could you imagine the fun you'd have making yourself invisible? (As long as you don't trip and shatter into a million pieces!!)

Why is it hard to keep the bike upright when standing still and effortless when going forward. And the faster you're going the easier it becomes.
I don't see why angular momentum, angular acceleration, or speed would affect that.

I am worry that my fish tanks are destroying the building structure. I live on the 2nd floor of a two-floor condo, and I have one 60 gal. & one 37 gal. fish tanks sitting on an “L” shape corner of the living room. Every time I walk by the tanks, I see the surface water in the tank waving.

Please tell me it won't happen – I don't want to see my fish tanks travel through the floor and land in my neighbor's living room downstairs one day.

Why has it been so cold in the Northeast?? It was warm for a while, like back in March, and now it is cold again (like 60's and 70s). it is June it should be much warmer than this for this time of year.
Will it ever get warm again?? Why is the weather like this? I thought "global warming" was supposed to be raising the normal highs....temps are below normal!

Deepest point of the ocean is the Mariana Trench with 10,911 m (35,797 feet) below sea level. Assume the cannon ball is perfectly round and weights 30 pounds = 13.6 kg. Make reasonable assumptions for friction coefficients, floating forces and other parameters.
Just to be clear....I don't know the answer myself but would like to know it :-)

i think i may have a severly damaged testicle as a result of some trauma. it has hurt quite badly for several days since and it appears to be swollen larger than the other. i also have seen some blood in my urine. going to the doctor is not that easy for me but maybe i need to go or is this just bruised and will hopefully go away in a few days?
