about a week ago i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. This following week, i will have a gynecologic ultrasonography (doc needs to check my ovaries) done on me. my question is: will it detect if i'm pregnant or not this early?

Ok, I asked a question earlier about how far along I was, and if ultra sounds are more accurate. I'm 11.5 weeks...my due date is June 24th. That is N0T going by my LMP, but my due date was given to me by my ultra sound at 9 weeks. One girl stated that I'm 11.5 weeks so I conceived 13.5 weeks ago. WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT? And then, another girl said that if you go by ur LMP 11.5 weeks was ur LMP, so techinally I'm 9.5 weeks(the baby) Then, there were a few more comments that were made that just don't make sense. I guess I will re-word this whole question. If I am 11.5 weeks...and my due date is the 6-24 then can the doctor be off by 3 weeks? The reason I'm asking is because I had to sexual partners in the month of September. Yes, I know, DNA test are the smartest way, but It's either my boyfriends, or a friend. I slept with my friend Sept 16th (just once) and my boyfriend almost every other weekend. Someone please help..and no mean answers sayin I'm a slut, I already feel that way.

a few weeks ago my boyfriend and i had sex. we did use a condom, but i missed my last period, i normally have wierd periods so i looked past it, but now i am lightly spotting and have a gross discharge, however me boobs are not sore they are and look normal. im kind of nervous though i dont have a way to get a preg. test w/out my parents knowing right know. and i dont want to scare them and then find out it was nothing. could i be pregnant? or just over reacting?

i'm 12 weeks preg, n i have question that i've had on my mind for days now. so like i said im 12 wks. n i know im ok, but wat happends if theres no heartbeat on the baby? i know is no longer alive, but do you go through a surgery to remove the fetus or how do dr. take it out? n at 12wks how will dat effect your body?
i know is weird to ask that, but i was just wondering!!

My wife had sex with another man. That same week I had sex with her 5 out of the 7 days, one of those days we both had sex with her. Couple hours apart. She said they used a candom and that he ejaculated on her stomach and that none was in the vagina area. Abviously i'll find out when the baby is born but what are the chances?? considering all that is true.

I'm due in march. Christmas this month and my birthday is in Feb. And I'm having my baby shower in Jan. All anyone talks about getting me is stuff for the baby. I knows it's nice people giving me free stuff to take care of my baby with, and I do appreciate it. But this is my last Christmas before it's all about my son, and my birthday should be about me. I didn't have a birthday at all last year. It was my big 18 and I got out of foster care. I know I'm sounding like a little baby, but I feel it's neccessary for me to atleast have my birthday for me. How do I tell this to people without sounding like a little baby? Christmas and baby shower it's cool, but I want to have a birthday this year!

37+weeks and 4cm dialated and fully effaced for about a week. I think baby dropped lastnight, and now im having a lot of back pain but mostly hip pain. I had bloody show a week ago and still having bloody discharge, should I be concerned about the really bad pain in my hips and lower back?

1in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage!!! That is a lot!! Actually the number is higher since a lot of woman have what is called a chemical miscarriage. This is when a woman gets pregnant and she doesnt even know it and has a miscarriage around the time she has her period. Usually a woman thinks she is just having a bad period in that particular month. Studies show that most healthy women will experience at least 2 miscarriages in her lifetime rather it is a regular or chemical micarriage. That is sooo shocking to me!!!

im in my second month of pregnancy not completely 2 months yet but bout 7 weeks probably i have pinkish so light red spotting i dont even have to use a pad its so little and i only see it when i wipe sometimes there is some sometimes there is none this has been happening since night b4 last it went away then came back yestarday afternoon its so light its like just a coloration when i whipe i have no pain and am feeling normal just a little spotting remember im like 7 weeks preggo do think im ok and i cant see my doc till monday so im just wondering

can i be pregnant when i got my periods the first month (october) then second month they were a week late and when i got them they were really light and the first day it was jut a brownish spot till th next morning then they were mostley brown but some little bits were red.could i be please answer properly. oh and i am not stressed cause if i am i am im just asking this question cause i dont wanna get a test unless there is a possibility thanks.

Since most healthy woman ovulate every cycle then how is one woman considered ''more fertile'' than another? I know that a woman that is younger is more fertile than a woman that is older. Woman that just had a baby are also considered more fertile than woman that havnt. What does being fertile actually mean. Does a woman ovulate more than once in one given cycle? Are her eggs considered better than at any other time in her life?


I just recently had a miscarriage and we were told that I would be very fertile within the next 3 months. They said that if we wanted to try again that this is the best time. I am trying to understand how this works.

I know being fertile means that you can conceive. My question is how is a person more fertile in one point in her life than another when technically she can concieve at both times. I dont know if that makes any sense?!!

i'm 19 and a few weeks ago i found out that i'm pregnant. i'm really scared to tell my parents but especially my mom. i don't want them to think that i'm like most teenagers and have been having sex all the time. it was just this one time and i really love my bf we've been together for 3 years. i think thats pretty good. he already knows that i'm pregnant and hes actually excited. i think he may even marry me so yeah he's a good guy. but i know my parents are going to yell at me and make me feel like trash.. i men yeah i'm disappointed in myself too but i can't change what i did i can only try to make things better. how can i help them accept it and not disown me?
