You're getting close. Call your doctor.

Some women have increased/softer bowel movements within a day or two of labor.

Best wishes.

Could be the start of labor...especially since you've already had a bloody show. Start checking the times between the pains and how long they last. It's very possible you could be having back labor. If you start to get too uncomfortable, don't be ashamed to go to your labor and delivery ward at the hospital or call your midwife. They deal with pregnant women all the time that don't know whether they are in actual labor or not...

Good luck and congrats on the upcoming baby!

Its normal. The baby sits on major nerves the farther along you get, especially as he drops. The biggest nerve you have runs through your pelvis and into your right leg. It causes a lot of pain.

You should be checked again, if you havent been in the last couple days, to make sure you're not father along with labor than you feel.

your digestive system naturaly speeds up as pregnancy progresses, resulting in more frequent bowel movements.

Runs at this point usually indicate the onset of true labor, if theyre noted along with regular contractions :)

Have you told your OB all these things? It really sounds like youre body is preparing itself for labor. My hips hurt because they were widening to allow her to fit through and I had labor pains in my back. I would definitely ask for an explanation if he doesn't give one. Its definitely not because they are sitting on a nerve. That is a somewhat sharp pain that goes down either leg that begins at your hip. If your child were sitting your sciatic nerve you wouldve felt it before now.
