Pregnancy - December 2006

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I have gestational diabetes.My levels are not going down with diet and exercise alone and they will be starting me on insulin shots Monday.Any advice if you have had it?Was your baby ok at birth after you having to take insulin shots?I am worried.Please answer only if you have had to take the shots or know someone who did.

I just found out yesterday that my baby died five weeks ago in the womb. I will now have no insurance as i am no longer what they consider "pregnant" I can't afford another hospital bill i.e. a d&c. What can i do to make it miscarry...or is there even a way? What about blue cohosh. Does that stuff work?

I am 8 and a half weeks pregnant and I am constantly sick. I don't know why they call it morning sickness anyway cause it lasts throughout the day. I sleep all the time and my stomach hurts on and off all day. I throw up twice a day but nothing really comes out. How can I reduce this sickness? I am miserable!

I'm only 16 weeks pregnant and I noticed a clear, slightly milky coloured liquid leaking from my beasts the other day. It stopped but still happens if I put any pressure on the top of the breast (which I am avoiding doing). I know leaking later in pregnancy is normal but i wasnt expecting it yet. Is this normal? I have my next midwifes apt on Wednesday so I'll discuss it with her then.

Would like to visit my dentist, but -- no idea how to handle a dental appointment if my own toothbrush and floss leave me dry heaving. My gums are prone to bleeding, a bit sore, almost itchy.

Any ideas?

(And, yeah -- I am still brushing and flossing. Just with interruptions. My teeth and gums were in great shape until quite recently.)

I'm not on the pill, I used protection (condom), I've been nursing for 5 months, and have only had sex once since then. Could I be pregnant again? I felt a bit nauseated the other day, my cycle only came once since I gave birth (granted I've always had irregular cycles), lately I've had heightened sense of smell, and I can't seem to lose weight despite working out and eating less.

I am on day 31. I am taking Clomid days 3-7 to ovulate, and then Prometrium on days 18-30 to thicken the uterine walls to aid in implantation. Because of it keeping the lining there, i wouldn't have a period until i stop the meds. I stopped last night and now i either have to wait for a period or to see if i'm pregnant. My nipples have been tender for a week now and i sort of feel like i could start. (when i was pregnant in may (miscarried) i felt as though i could start at any minute). Just wondering if anyone had been on this drug and how long it took to see if they were pregnant or to start their period (if i ovulated this month...based on an ultrasound, it wouldn't have happened until day 20). Thanks.

My last period was on Nov.3,2006. I had protected sex during my period with my baby's dad. On Nov.18 at like 12:30 am i had sex with another guy. He didnt use a condom at the beginning until after i came then he put it on. Now i am pregnant. Im sure the guy on the 18 is the father but what are the possibilities my babys dad is the father if we used protection? My babys dad says the condom wasn't torn.

out the day; but this morning i woke up and i feel great--no nausea or anything...i have no crampin--i had a slight beely ache last night (it felt normal --my belly just aching)....and absolutely no blood (thank god)...i was told the sickness doesnt go away unill about 3-4 months----does my situation sound normal????

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and SO gassy and bloated! I couldnt even sleep because it is kinda painful.Is there anything I can take to relieve the gas? I have been eating good and everything, I dont know why this is so bad.....My stomach feels hard......Please help.

im in the air force and will be going to tech school n a few months... but that happens to be right before her due date ... maybe a month or so...she wants to say at home... she thinks she has to stay with her doc... she had some complacations early on but since then her doc has said shes ok and theres nothing wrong...i think she just doesnt want to change docs that late shoud i not want her to be with me so i can be there when our first child is born... or should i just suck it up and and see our baby after i get back... am i beng selfish or am i doing the right thing
