I am exactly as far along as you are! Unbelievably, this is the first pregnancy I have had that my morning sickness is completely overwhelming. Here are a few tips I have found help me combat the queasiness!
--Eat something like crackers, chips, popcorn, or other low-sugar snack foods CONSTANTLY throughout the day. Keeping a little bit of food will help settle your digestive system.
--EAT - REALLY! The nausea is overwhelming; sometimes to the point of being practically incapacitated. Don't let your stomach dictate your eating habits. You may think that nothing sounds appetizing, but eating a little bit will help.
--Keep hydrated. If the nausea turns to vomiting, you need to keep your body hydrated for you AND your baby's sake. If you find you can't keep anything down, a call to your OB may be in order. There are a select few medicines that pregnant women can take for nausea.
Good luck - here's to hoping your pregnancy gets much better and you can enjoy it!

I am so sorry you are going through this! I had the same problem with morning sickness in my first trimester. The only thing I could do to get through my day at work was to keep a constant flow of food going in my mouth. I brought a "feed" bag to work with me everyday filled with fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, granola bars, soup etc... I would eat something every half hour all day. The nice thing about this method was it would help me to not feel so nauseous and when I did have to vomit I actually had something in there TO vomit so it wasn't as painful. After work I would just go home drink tons of water, nap and take it really easy.
People kept telling me that I would feel better once the first trimester was over and they were right. I hope this doesn't last long for you, the good news is your almost to your second trimester and your having a baby!!
Best Wishes! Happy Holidays!

Certain food may be triggering your nausea. For me I know anything dairy and lettuce made me sick. I needed things like cheeseburger. LOL. Everyone is different though. Unfortunetly sickness is one of the many things that come with pregnancy and you're right it doesn't just happen in the morning. I had mine all day and mostly at night. Once your about 12 weeks it should start going away. Try eating a few small meals a day so you aren't throwing up your stomach acid. Good luck and congrats.

I felt the same way. I could not eat or even look at food for 2 months straight. Once I got to 12 weeks I started feeling better, and now the nausea is gone. I have a lot of energy, and want to eat everything. I don't have to take a nap anymore during the day just to make it. Just give it time it will get better.

You need to start eating small bits of food all throughout the day. Once your stomach is empty the acids go mad and you feel ill,
Try Ginger, Lemon, Mint, anything with these flavours in it. Ginger Tea or Ginger Ale... these will help you alot! Try a banana as well, as they are very good for pregnancy sickness.
Hope you feel better soon!!

Its a natural horrible thing about pregnancy.... I'm sorry you are having such a bad time!
It goes away after 12 weeks.... you have gotten this far! You can do it!
There really isn't anything that can help you, the doctors can give you something to help with the sickness, but if you aren't keeping any food down, they will make you take it rectally.. ew....
Just hang in there!
I was really sick for 12 weeks for my second.... it wasn't fun!!!!

Yes, it is called morning sickness buut it should be called all day sickness. I feel you, I was throwing up up to 7 times a day. usually saltine crackers help, drinking ginger ale (it has ginger in it), almonds (natural not the sugar kind)...etc. I tried everything and nothing worked so my dr prescribed some medicine for me....maybe if nothing works with you talk to your dr to see what he suggests, you don't have to be miserable if nothing helps you...medicine help me a great deal...it lasted until my 14th week. Good luck

Hopefully it will pass once you are into your second trimester, it usually does. In the mean time, always keep food in your stomach, light snacks are the best, like crackers. The good thing about the 'all day' sickness, it means your pregnancy hormones are very strong. I had the 'all day' sickness for the entire first trimester and it did pass once I entered the second trimester.
