My husband and I cannot decide on a name for our baby girl to be so we figured we'de let the public debate or vote on one. So which one Ava or Samantha? We both have dark brown hair and blue eyes so she probably will too.

I like Jimothy but everyone keeps saying what about Timothy? What's wrong with Jimothy?

I also like Freck as a middle name and love Millard. And really, why do so many of you have a problem with Lucius Tang? Tang is a yummy astronaut drink.

I am the proud mommy of one awesome little guy, Brody. I like very cute, a tad unusuall names for little ones. Nothing crazy, just not heard too much. I recently had a miscarriage. The babys name was Reily (my grandmas name). It sounded so nice with Brody and was an either or name. We are not stopping trying until I have another love to spoil. How do you all like the name Maisen or a boy or girl? Is that spelling too feminie for a little guy? What do you all think?

My aunt is pregnant with a baby girl, and has decided on the name Danica (that was actually my idea...the name of a character in my short story assignment!). But she's looking for a middle name...any suggestions are appreciated. The last name is Parker.

Oh, Danica means "morning star". Another name with a meaning that compliments "morning star" would be great, but anything that sounds good will be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm English and the daddy's from Ecuador and I would really like a name that represents his home country (even though he's now an American citizen). Baby girl names seem so much easier to think of than boys!

I'm 4 days away from the due date and found out yesterday that the beautiful name I had picked out for my baby, has been taken by someone (kind of) in the family. First off, we don't know if its a boy or a girl and we have a boys name picked out. But the girl name was Zoe Nikole. Found out that my brothers' dads' girlfriend (they've been together for a long time now) has a 2 yr old granddaughter named Zoey Nicole. I'm so upset! I want a really rare name, and I know the older ones aren't used much anymore. So, help me out please!!!

Some names are seen as dorky and others as elegant and grand. I'd like to know if you think that children grow into the stereotypical traits of their names. Has your name had an effect on you?
