I like Jimothy but everyone keeps saying what about Timothy? What's wrong with Jimothy?

I also like Freck as a middle name and love Millard. And really, why do so many of you have a problem with Lucius Tang? Tang is a yummy astronaut drink.

Jeez, your poor kid doesn't have a chance, does he?

Jimothy is silly name and everyone will think his mom misspelled it when she named him.

Freck is utterly horrendous and has sooooo much potential to be teased.

Millard is an old man name. Can you really picture a little baby named Millard? Plus it sounds like mallard.

Lucius is ok, not too much wrong with that one. Lucian is another good variation.

Tang......good Lord, are you out of your mind? You want to put "Tang" in your child's name? Do you even know what people use that word for?

All in all, I have to say that the only way you will spare your child endless torment is by naming him Timothy Lucius.

Timothy is a real name; Jimothy is not. "Jimothy" sounds kinda cute, but when he's in school his teachers will look at it and think it's a misprint. Kids might think it's too weird. Your son might hate it because it's too unusual. And what is Freck? Would you really consider naming a child "Jimothy Freck"? Aaa-rrgh!
If you want to call him "Jim" then name him James or Jim. And, isn't Lucius another name for the Devil in some piece of literature? You really don't want to go there. So, if you named him Lucious Tang it would sound like some kind of devilish new drink, wouldn't it?
"Timothy Millard" might fly.
"Lucas James" or "James Lucas" sound good to me.
Good luck, and congratulations on baby boy.

Your boy might get teased a lot with the name Jimothy, because it sounds like Timothy.

The same with Freck (I'm sorry, it does sound like "freak").

Lucius Tang sounds rather Sci-fi or comic book, to me.

I really hope this helped.

The only thing wrong with Jimothy is that its kind of a weird name, not a cute unusal name, but a wierd one. Timothy is a cuter version. Lucias Tang is ok lucias is cute because you could call him luke, Tang is just dumb becuse it just seems like you are trying to be ridiculously unusual.

How about Jimothy Cricket? That would be totally cool!

It's made up. It sounds stupid. You go around answering other peoples questions about baby names telling them they are made up or the child will have to defend their name or explain it. Why don't you take your own advice and not name your child something outrageous.

I don't think there is any need for name calling. From the sounds of the question, it wasn't posted to "make a point."

Grow Up!

Because those names all sound like they came out of a trailer park...don't set your child up to fail.

you are trying ot get an unusual name for your child but why don't you think about him first. when he grows up(i'm not talking about school where he'll definetley be bullied because of his name) he'll feel different from others. you don't want your kid to be ashamed of his name, do you?

Because you don't want the kid to get teased and bullied throughout his childhood.
