Hi all! My name is Carrie and my husband and I are currently blessed with four children: Natasha, Samuel, and twins, Jessa and Elijah. We are joyfully expecting a fifth child this January! With this child, my husband and I have decided to wait to find out the gender until the baby is born, given that we already have a plethora of girl and boy clothes, so there is no need to buy more!

If the baby is a boy, we decided to name him Jonah Lee. Lee is my husband's middle name. If the baby is a girl, we want to name her Kara Maria. Maria is my middle name.

My problem is, do you think Carrie Maria and Kara Maria sound TOO much like? My oldest daughter Natasha made me realize this when we were talking about names one day and I was wondering if the two names were too close alike, would it be weird?

When we told my mother what we were going to name the baby if it was a girl, she said: "Why don't you just name her Carrie Maria? Might as well!"

What do you think? Thanks!

I had an ultrasound at thirteen weeks and I was told that it "looks like you're having a boy". I have my boy's name choosen without any doubts. But what if its a girl? I have no idea on a girl's name. I like unusual, but not weird names. Something that is not too common or plain. My name is Micaela. My daughter is Kiarra Monique. Let me know the names of women in your life please. Also, we are African-American so no Sally or Jenny's please. This does not mean Shanaynay or Taqueda either.
