sorry ,I should have mentioned I live in Spain and it is a Catalan name and actually very common, my husband(yes, Catalan)loves the name, but I think it is too common over here..

I like both and they're both cute, but i like thomas more...jordi is unique but it also sounds kinda weird at the same time and u can't really make a nickname out of it. Thomas u can be called tom r tommy and since u liv in spain it would be an unique name!

Thomas is a fine, strong name, but I don't like it. It's definitely a better name to grow up with. Jordi sounds too childish.

I love the name Jordi. What about Jordan if you want something a little different? but I don't know how common that is over there.

Can you combine the two? In that way you both had a hand in picking out his name.
Jordi - cool name. Jordi Thomas or Thomas Jordi.

Neither. Thomas is too common and Jordi is not a man's name. It's cute for a little boy but not on a grown man.

Name him Jordan Thomas and just call him Jordi for short... and when he gets older like someone above mentioned he can go back to Jordan if he pleases
