From my understanding, socialized medicine is when the government runs all aspects of healthcare: the funding, hiring, and managing of all work in hospitals. Single-payer just requires the government to fund public healthcare but hospitals would remain independent and privately owned and managed. Do you agree? What can you add?

I know people will hastily comment that these two systems are the same and will result in communism and so on. Please. Every other industrialized country has some form of government managed healthcare that is drastically more significant than the anarchy of the US system (you get what can, which is just harsh and subtle chaos).

Steam comes from water and we have lots of that. Why do we need oil?

I mean sheesh! We were running trains on steam 150 years go with no problems. There's no energy crisis. Let's start using water!

Its public knowledge that Hillary Clinton has attended bilderburg meetings numerous times (They have publicly released names of their members who attend, just not what they do.) Thats one of those "secret societies" by the way...It gets worse-what bothers me most is that she was caught lieing about having any knowledge about bilderberg WHATSOEVER. My question is: has anyone else seen her in this youtube video?

what do you think?

Or do they forget why they were elected?

It seems that each party that is elected promises to fix everything, so the people vote them into office.

Then the people get tired because they haven't done anything they promised and boot them out of office.

It's a cycle that has been repeating since the US became a country.

What say you?

Who can forget the unprovoked terror attacks of September 11, 2001? Who can forget that 21 Iranians flew those planes? Who can forget the Ayatollah and Amadinejad laughing and smiling at a victory party while babies burned?

Now they are building a nuke to kill millions of us. How can we just sit back and let them? We're all going to be incinerated like the slopes at Hiroshima!

George Bush gave only 300 dollars just to tax payers, the Dems critisized him for it?

Both partys have me confused the Republicans think its okay to give away money in the form of tax breaks but the Dems oppose that. The Dems thinks its okay to give away money in cash Which the Republicans oppose. What's the difference? It's still giving away money. It's like an watching an Abbot and Costello routine.

can an individual citizen give?

Support only comes from funding and that comes from the president or congress, depending on circumstances. So when politicians say "support our troops", aren't they really saying "support the president" or
"support the republican party" or
"I want to 'appear' patriotic"?

I don't see how citizens can provide any actual support for soldiers half a planet away from home. And every time I hear this, it has political implications or is used as a sound byte to promote something.

It should be basic Math; but why can't 100 Million poor people vote in a change.

Have you ever seen the stack of money graph. It is based on the thickness of a dollar. The upper end has a big stack of cash compared to the average American.
