OMG! Somebody shoot me now! I actually agree with a lib on something!
You are right on, because at the end of the day, we are all Americans, and need to start acting like it.

United which way?
Far left? Far right? somewhere in the middle? A bit right? A bit left? Whatever way you divide it, half of the population is going to be unhappy.
I'd like to see true compromise come back into our system. That is the way our democracy was designed to work and it is the only way it will work without major changes, which will leave somebody or some group out.

That is the best question and most important start to get back on track. It is common sense and a first step that needs to happen. It's hard to do with kindergartners running our country. I would say they are the perfect example of a group of people we do not need to continue damaging the best country in the world and continue to do so.They are in a war among themselves in their own little sick minds. I don't think they understand it's not about them and who they are supposedly working for.Basically I don't think they give a crap ! We need to make better choices when voting and know who and what kind of people we choose.

No. Only when it's to the benefit of this nation's sovereignty. In so as much as protecting it. But never to relinquish any freedoms. That's it. We can share principle in certain ideologies. However the individual differences is what makes us unique and thus promotes progression(through conservative principle would be the best option). I believe you are referring to united as in socialism. No........ absolutely not. That'll kill this country.

I would like to see our people more united, but if our government becomes more united, I think I'd get paranoid.

you are correct. it would be nice to get along.
all I ask is libs keep their hands off my hard earned money. after that, they can have most of the rest of the government to themselves.
