hmm i just got from my friend's parents inviting me there for a short time (im pretending to go for my bday... and stay 1 week).. In the letter, my friend's mother specified that they will be supporting me while im there. the letter is notarized too. Also i heard that if one of the adults inviting me there are proffesional and have good jobs, they would be more opportunity to get the visa.

what should i believe?

I've phoned the U.S embassy in the UK and they just give the standard answers without going out of their way to do more than they need to tell you. A friend has told us that it is better to get married in the US and then go straight for the spouse visa rather than go through the whole fiance visa then spouse visa thing. If i leave the US after i'm married before the spouse visa has been accepted then i cant get back into the country until the visa has been dealt with. But the whole process is quite confusing. In the UK there is an option of getting a same day interview for living there that costs 500 pounds. I'm wondering if there are a few things that could save time with the whole process whilst still staying within the law.

I met someone while visiting the US. She is the kind of a woman I always dream and wish in my lifetime! I must take her back with me to Canada.
Anybody knows how long of a process if I marry her in the US and bring her back as a wife? She is from another country and have overstayed her visa as a visitor in the US, would that be a problem?
Also, what if i take other route as a solution. Let her come to Canada as a visitor and marry her there? Any help would much be appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

I am born in the U.S. from French parents. I currently have dual citizenship with France. But can I apply for Italian citizenship If my Great-Grand mother was born in Italy and later moved after a year of birth to France. This is from my mom side and she was born after 1900 and before 1940. So can I apply for italian citizenship or no in this case?

Hi, I'm an international student in N.Y
I accidetally dropped 1 class so I took 11 credits which they said I violated the law(counsellor said 12 is minimum credits).
So I have to go out of U.S and come back again.
They said they wlll give me another new i-20.
I wonder if I have to go to Embassy in my country again with new i-20 to have a interview. or Just come back to U.S with new i-20 and my previous F-1 visa. I should've asked counsellor about it, but today is saturday.
I'll appreciate if you can answer me.
Thank you!

Each day, new information unfolds; today Republican Speaker Hastert's chief (who rooms with Hastert when he is in Washington) admits he knew. If he and Hastert occasionally live in the same place, how could Hastert not know? More importantly, would other nations handle this catastrophy differently? Would party sympathizers point the finger at the opposition who weren't involved or in the know? What your opinion?

I belong to a group , that was spinned off of a visa informational site ,because there are so many 221g's from a consulate ,we formed our own group. We share two things in common ,f petitioners older than the applicant. The other thing in common is that none of us were given a chance to show proof at the interview. All of us had files that were available, including hundreds .emails, letters, phone calls , pics, documents all there . It was offered but declined.Another case was sent back this week where they even had videos , nothing reviewed. This is not an easy process to through for either the petitioner or applicant. It seems very odd that.. all of us share these things in common.PS all relationships were minimum of a year up to 7 yrs. No criminal records and passed the med ex .All cases sent back due to co questions the validity.
