I belong to a group , that was spinned off of a visa informational site ,because there are so many 221g's from a consulate ,we formed our own group. We share two things in common ,f petitioners older than the applicant. The other thing in common is that none of us were given a chance to show proof at the interview. All of us had files that were available, including hundreds .emails, letters, phone calls , pics, documents all there . It was offered but declined.Another case was sent back this week where they even had videos , nothing reviewed. This is not an easy process to through for either the petitioner or applicant. It seems very odd that.. all of us share these things in common.PS all relationships were minimum of a year up to 7 yrs. No criminal records and passed the med ex .All cases sent back due to co questions the validity.

I am a 43 yr old ,divorced female petitioner of a nonimmigrant k-1 visa.I am a citizen of the USA. My fiance is of Moroccan decent, he is 32 . He has a masters degree in law, unfortunately it is not immigration. We also brought a translated , certified proof of his degree to the interview. I was at the interview, but was not allowed in the building. I waited outside, walking back and forth, watching the door in case the consular had any questions . I was never let in . I did go to the window after my fiance came out, and handed me the paper, and was told that his interview was over, they do not answer questions at the window and was told all I could do was to email the consular.

Complete your documents and re-apply. Prove that your intention is for real so that they will feel that you are sincere.
Appeal to their senses. Denial of a visa is very saddening. Hope that the consuls might reconsider your case.

ok this is right up my alley.
The fiance visa will work, but it is not as safe as the spousal visa.
The fiance visa, k-90 visa is based on her coming here for 90 days. During that 90 days you will have to marry or she will be sent back. The key to the fiance visa is for you to go there, have a party, take many photos to prove your legitimacy.
After the party, you file the papers. This will take 6-14 months. She will get an interview and they will ask her questions to prove its worth.
Honestly you should do what I did. I married my wife in Vietnam. Came home, filed the I-130 spousal visa form. It is much safer and the success rates are much higher. There is so much fraud with the k-90 fiance visa, they deny many many more then the spousal.
Why not marry her there out of respect to her and her family. Big deal, have a simple ceremony. And when she arrives here, go to your church and get it blessed and invite your family:)

dont use the fiance visa, trust me I know. mine failed and I lost 1 year of my life waiting. That is why we then did the spousal visa. The waiting time is shorter and rarely does it get denied.

I understand what you are going through. Please email me anytime. Also go to USCIS.com for all the info on the forms and fees.
Remember, dont hire a lawyer when filling out the paperwork. Do it yourself, its not hard, just be thorough

221g basicaly the embassy officer has no reason to prove to you the denial of the K3 visa or K1. you might get lucky if your wife insist on raising hell going trough her senator or house representitive. you might file lawsuit against them if you are really married for real. one of the reasons of denial is not the age but is prior refusal of visa if you had been turned down in past. my advice to you is getting ur wife pregnant then you bust their balls period.

Where to? It might have nothing to do with gender or age. It could be something going on in the country.
