The straight answer is yes.

Anyone from anywhere can claim refugee status...the point is whether that claim is regarded as bona fide, since every single refugee case is carefully examined, and the chances of the person being harmed in their home country are taken into account. If your life is in danger then you would be accepted, if it is in no apparent danger then you will be refused.

This question seems to have attracted a lot of weird self- righteous replies from people who have taken it as some sort of slur. Is the possibility that there are Americans who might conceivable not agree with the way their country is run and want to change it so absurd? I always thought that was exactly what living in a free country was all about...the right to say, hear and do whatever the hell you want. Apparently not in the opinon of some so-called "free market" respondants...

Why not, hahaha, but, what's the difference? Blair and bush and all the other European idiots are all cohorts. Considering what you have posted on your profile page, and you posing in front of the stirs and strips, makes you seem somewhat of a hypocrite

Call the foreign consulate and find out, but I have to say no. It would just prove how shallow the Americans are. After all other people are starving, dying and killed.
