Elections - August 2007

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Elections

I was all for Joe Biden. Then I was all for Rudy Gulliani. Then back to Biden. Now, I'm all for Dennis Kucinich.

What's up with this?

Anybody else like me?

I don't like her. I am not voting for her. But, she's still going to win it - no matter what I - or anybody says. Money bought this election. Money buys all elections.

I notice that there are quite a few people supporting Hillary Clinton for President? I had no idea that she was that strong of a candidate/politician. Would the Clinton supporters please tell me why I should be voting for?

Please read the following written in the NYT
On Nov. 12, 2001, The New York Times ran a front page article that began: "A comprehensive review of the uncounted Florida ballots from last year's presidential election reveals that George W. Bush would have won even if the United States Supreme Court had allowed the statewide manual recount of the votes that the Florida Supreme Court had ordered to go forward." Another Times article that day by Richard L. Berke said that the "comprehensive review of the uncounted Florida ballots solidifies George W. Bush's legal claim on the White House because it concludes that he would have won under the ground rules prescribed by the Democrats." On Nov. 18, 2001, Linda Greenhouse wrote in the Times that the media consortium's count of all the disputed Florida ballots — in which the Times participated — concluded "that George W. Bush would have won the 2000 presidential election even had the court not cut the final recount short."

So, any Comments?

Here is my platform... Reform.
1. Reduce the salaries of both houses to $60,000 a year.
2. Purchase land track, and make semi-luxurious housing for the families of the members of both houses.
3. Eliminate the IRS in it's present form, instigate a fair tax like sales tax.
4. Completely close both borders, passports required to come in or go.
5. Force congress to write all bills in a common english language, that can be read be commoners.

If you agree with these points, let me know, then pass it on to the candidates. If they don't want to clean up their house, then it will be up to us to do it for them.

If you watch any of the cable news channels, they are already spending hours each day discussing the race. Don't get me started on the overkill on the analysis of the recent Iowa straw poll! lol

Seriously, I almost yearn for the days when they spent more time on discussing whether or not Britney or Lindsay were wearing underwear! (I said ALMOST, okay? lol)

Do you feel there is too much coverage at this point in the race? Do you think there should be more?

Please share your thoughts.

have never read any official articals from the DNC regarding their implying that Bush stole the national elections. After all that ballot counting: once, twice, five, or twenty times. The results always came up with Bush winning. It was a real fight that all Americans had to endure. A honerable person should appologize. I bring this up because it looks as if Iraq may end up turning out very well in the end leaving the DNC in the need for another appology. Any comments.

I would really like to vote for Mike Gravel, But I know he probably wont win, I am a registered Democrat (I'm really a Libratarian) I registered as a Dem just so I could vote in the primaries against Hillary.

Me and all my freinds are doing this, I suggest anyone who loves America to do the same.

So who has the best chance of beating Hillary.

And If I vote Democratic in the primaries can I vote for a republican in the Election. (I Live in North carolina)

MIKE GRAVEL 08
Or
RON PAUL 08
Or
ANYONE BUT CLINTON 08

The movie is called September Dawn, and is about a group of Mormon extremists who massacre a pioneer family moving through their territory in the late 1800's.

Gee, could it have ANYTHING to do with the fact that the GOP is putting up a strong Mormon presidential candidate? The fact that this movie is even being made is curious enough, but the timing of its release? Sorry, I smell a rat! Another Hollywood hit piece on the GOP.
