If you watch any of the cable news channels, they are already spending hours each day discussing the race. Don't get me started on the overkill on the analysis of the recent Iowa straw poll! lol

Seriously, I almost yearn for the days when they spent more time on discussing whether or not Britney or Lindsay were wearing underwear! (I said ALMOST, okay? lol)

Do you feel there is too much coverage at this point in the race? Do you think there should be more?

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks, K-man, for lowering the quality of Yahoo Answers for everyone by resorting to the same ol' hyperbole!

I am getting tired of a couple of the candidates but am not tired of the discussion or debate as yet.

The leader of this nation is very important to us, and to the world for that matter. This is the most powerful nation on the earth, and perhaps the most powerful nation the earth has ever seen. Leadership of such is important and should be thoroughly discussed.

Personally I think we need much more yet, but it would be nice if it was substantive and not the simplicity the media usually covers.

No, this is an important election, and as the media they have a responsibility to cover the canidaites. When a citizen votes in a presidential election he/she needs to be well informed, given that this race has started over a year and a half from the election gives US citizens plenty of time to analyze the canidates and decide who they think is best for this country.

ok, the gender has no longer something to do with how stable a President is or the race of the guy. we are all equivalent. As for Hillary having a former President on her area, SO WHAT! He wasn't that great a President. He lied to us. how are you able to have confidence somebody who has him as an consultant? they're the folk supported by potential of the great companies and as a result have each and all the money. that does no longer propose that they are for the folk. Ron Paul is for the folk. He needs our u . s . to pass returned to the ideals of our Founding Fathers. Our u . s . is heading in direction of downfall except somebody like Ron Paul helps straighten us out.

Considering that it is today's most important political event, I don't think that it has been over-covered. What do you suggest they cover instead? The war also receives daily coverage. There is only so much news each day and the cable networks need to fill all 24 hours with programming.

It isn't so much as a race anymore. It's more of a one man show to see which GOP canidate will take office in 2008. So far it is looking great for Fred Thompson, and he hasn't officially declared yet.

I would have to admit that I am growing a little weary, even though I am a total political junkie. Then again, Ms. Clinton and Mr. McCain have both been running for the past seven years, announced or not.

I agree 100%. What's worse is that in a few months the sens. and reps. will be firing up their smear campaigns, if not already. I don't even watch news or listen to the radio much anymore. It really doesn't matter who you vote for anyway, they are all a bunch of self righteous crooks no matter which side they're on.

You mean the election isn't this year?!?!?!? Oh man, I just figured since everyone was going this crazy that it would be done soon. Oh well, I guess we'll have to put up with this only more and more for another year and three months.

Is there a 08 election? I though the socialist were already converting us and our freedoms were being handed over to the LIBS. Don't fight, be happy, here's another gov program, don't think, the liberal media will tell you everything we want you to believe.
