They pay US taxes and serve in the US military, but if you are a Puerto Rican and live in Puerto Rico, you are NOT allowed to vote in presidential elections....Soldiers Can Die But Can't Vote? Puerto Ricans Serve Without Representation!

WTF?

I believe Al Gore has a moral responsibly to run for president in 2008. He was president elect in 2000. Nothing but controversy in the Bush administration since before day one.
a. steeling the 2000 election
b. 911 "was his fault" http://stj911.com/
c. we were led to war on a lie and miss led into a war to line their pockets
d. we have been force feed disinformation about global warming
e. patriot act
f. Abu Ghraib
g. KATRINA
h. illegal wire taps
i. Scooter Libby
There is so much more! I don't feel there is a candidate right now I would vote for. I don't trust Hillary and Barack Obama is to inexperienced! Al Gore needs to stand up and hear the voice of the people. We choose him in 2000 and he needs to give us the chance to come out in 2008 and vote in record numbers to vindicate the injustice that was done in 2000. I feel owes this to the American people. What do you think?

Can a good President survive? Does this explain why no real people run for that high office?

Starting about 20 years ago the political debate changed, attack ads proliferated, personal destruction of your opponents became the norm. In the last two elections things seemed to some degree to moderate but now it is coming on strong again. Obama and Edwards are going to get screwed beyond belief.

Do you support this type of politics? Do you want this from those who seek to be President?

S. J. Res. 9; A joint resolution to revise United States policy on Iraq.
This was the most important vote of the year. Was he busy announcing his candidacy for President. Why should we vote for him if we don't know what his stance on Iraq is?

George Bush's father was president then his son. His brother was a governor. Al gore had a relative in government. Hillary is trying to follow Bill Clinton. The Kennedys have and had numerous family members and relatives in government. A lot of the US government is controlled by a limited number of families even though the US has 300,000,000 people now. This isn't strange as many other countries are controlled by a limited number of families. Don't Americans want diversity who is running the country?

Would the following be considered "fun facts" about Rudy Guiliani?

1. He not only supports abortions and partial-birth abortions, but even said that the government should pay for poor women to have them

2. He has said "no public official is more pro-immigrant than me"

3. He supports wide ranging gun control measures

4. He supports gay marriage

These all came as big news to me, considering ALL of these views are in line with Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. And he calls himself a Republican?

does any one look at the things the person has done in the past to help out a town or a city
or do they just vote on the one who is telling them what they want to hear
just because they say they are behind something or believe in something doesn't mean they have any intentions to making it happen
usuall y if i'm told someone is behind me one something it's about 50 feet behind me with no intentions of getting any closer

Heres the catch, if you have sex with her, then you would have to take her for breakfast in the morning. Yes, shes spending the night.

But you may NEVER speak of this, and no one will ever known you ''did' the ex first lady.

I am emphasizing WHY very much! Only serious answers please. Since joining this community, I have read SO many people trying to promote who they believe ought to be elected in 2008, but I have not heard any facts as to WHY they are voting for that particular individual or prefer them over others. Give me some insight, because as it stands now, one would think that the only people running for the Dems are Hillary and Barack and for the Repubs it's Rudy, Mitt, or John McCain.

Other Dems running are John Edwards, Bill Richardson, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, and Dennis Kucinich. Other Repubs include Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee.

I would like to hear some really good reasons. I already know who I'm voting for and why. Try to convince me your candidate is the best choice and perhaps my mind could be changed?

I dunno... she looks like she is really an up tight ***** which is fine if we are going to have another war time president. I don't think there will be a solid choice this next go around ... which just leaves republican choices. I was for McCain but he doesn't seem to be able to pick a side and stay on it... he plays both sides it seems without taking a stand.
