S. J. Res. 9; A joint resolution to revise United States policy on Iraq.
This was the most important vote of the year. Was he busy announcing his candidacy for President. Why should we vote for him if we don't know what his stance on Iraq is?

Why would you vote for him KNOWING his stance on Iraq? McCain has supported the failed Bush policy since the beginning, and now he's advocating committing MORE troops to the fight. In reality there is no military solution to Iraq, the only way to calm the country is by diplomacy. Sending more troops over there is only going to get more Americans killed, waste more tax dollars, and prolong the massacre of Iraqi civilians.

Bodie is correct - John McCain is no longer the straight talker that he used to be and he is too close to Bush on Iraq. This will cost him the Nomination.

Mr. McCain came on here on Yahoo and wanted to know from everyone their "solution" or better yet their "opinion" on how to reduce government spending, or some non-sense like that..........
Isnt' then possible that he did not vote on that resolution because..................."he did not have enough time to post here"........ and ask what everyone thinks he should do?
