No. A political party is only as good as its spin doctors persuade the general public to believe that it is. You only have to look at the number of idiots who bumble from one disaster to the next, to realise that bad politicians are not seen as a threat to the party as such - if they were, they would not be permitted to continue in office.

No, that's guilt by association.

Any group of people with sufficient numbers is going to have its share of dregs and wingnuts. And if the entire Democratic party was judged by Teddy Kennedy or the entire Republican party by Duke Cunningham that would be ignoring every decent person amongst both and unjustly minimizing judgment down to the lowest common denominator.

And only as good as it's worst members. Remember, every political organization has bad fruit in it from the top to the bottom. Not that they are all bad. Just a few is all it ever takes.

no,both parties are corrupt and any politician has the potential to be corrupt,regardless of party.
