It amazes me how careless Americans can be with their own people. Health care for most Americans even those with some health care coverage sucks. And yet, we allow Conservative-created fear about "communism" and "socialism" and "long lines"cloud the fact millions of Americans don't have health coverage. Of course we have shorter wait times than other countries---45 million people aren't in line. You know where they are---in the emergency room b/c they could afford checkups and meds. We can't even get coverage for all kids!!!!

Just kidding. I do have some really important new to share with you though. It’s about a most worthy cause so please keep reading. I found a website that saves lives that you should know about. It’s an organization started by the band Jars of Clay called www.bloodwatermission.com Their primary mission is to build wells in Africa to supply water to those who have no access to it. Every dollar that is donated will supply one African with clean water for one calendar year. Thousands of people die everyday for preventable diseases caused by the drinking of unclean water. You will actually be saving people’s lives by donating.

“Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government.”
Thomas Jefferson
" Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual.”
Thomas Jefferson
" Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”
Thomas Jefferson
“ The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.”
Thomas Jefferson
" If once the people become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature, in spite of individual exceptions.”
Thomas Jefferson

For the first time in the last 100 years we actually have a chance to elect a President who supports the US Constitution, in full. So what is it about freedom that makes so many want to be enslaved by even considering anyone other than Ron Paul?

I realize the main stream media is doing everything they can to silence Ron Paul's message of Freedom, but even when some people learn of Ron paul they still think someone like Hitlery Clinton means what she says when she claims to support Freedom. Her own words contradict her at almost ever other breath.

I don't get it. Why are people afraid to be free?

the question is:

what do you think are the major problems confronting American citizens at the present time?
-what relevance do the writings of men such as james madison have in helping us to find solutions to these problems. in explaining your answer, be specific.
-does the constitiution provide an adquate framework for the solution of these problems? why or why not? if you believe changes are required, what are they?

i have to write an essay to the above question, when i dont even really get what the question is asking...

when it saqys major problems confronting american citizens, is it talking about issues, like abortion or the war in iraq, or is it talking about something else?
can anyone help me decipher the question...?
