someone told me there could be a warrent out for my arest because of this, if so does anybody know how to how i could check that online for free?

Write a letter to justify your absence from the jury duty and send it to the court so that you will not be declared in contempt and no warrant will be issued for your arrest.

i missed it about 8 times. i used pregnancy, high risk as the excuse 3 times...i dont know what i told them the other 5 times. LOL. Its really not the big deal they say it is......Just call em up and tell them you plum forgot it or whatever happened. Just tell the truth!!! They will accept it. We are all human.

Call the county court house and volunteer for jury duty or else you will have a fine, jail time and a record.

Call your county courthouse and ask them .
Look on your paperwork they sent you for the judges name and talk to the person in charge.
Tell them the truth if you couldn't find a ride or if you were sick.
But don't say you forgot because they don't like that answer.

they will usuaully put warrant out for your arrest if you made no attempt what so ever.cause its actually against the law to miss jury duty without permission to be dismissed from court

Don't know about nj but they can put out a warrant for arrest in il. but they never have! If you go online and check they will know, so pretend you never got it,and they can never prove it !
