I am 39w6d pregnant. My due date is tomorrow; however, my husband has been called for jury duty starting tomorrow! What are the chances he can get out of it? If he can't, will I be allowed to accompany him to the "trials" in case I go into labor (since cell phones won't be allowed how else would I reach him?) I know he has talked to one lady already and she couldn't give him any kind of answer as to what to do. Anyone have any thoughts?

Every human-being must feel responsibility for present and future world. Everyone has to contribute their part of share towards peace of the world and better living of our and future generations. Utilizing the power of vote is not just enough, Everyone has to involve in decision making also. For that Government or Elected Leaders should consider our point-of-view before taking any decisions and opinion of majority of people's decision must be implemented. Through this we can achieve the meaning of great saying:

"FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE"

This may sound like a weird question, but is it possible to cancel my voter registration and re-register? Or at least change whatever political party I may have put down? I'm 24 now, and my views have changed since I was 18....

I have recently seen Michael Moores film Sicko, but this wasnt the begining of my questioning what our government isnt doing for us. One of our great presidents said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." well, now i think its high time the people start to do something for their country, by changing the government. Why are so many people so afraid to stand up? Is this what our forefathers fought so hard for? For us to just sit back and be afraid of what our governmnet might do to us if we rebell? No, we shouldnt be afraid of them. So how...how can we bring people together? how can we get THE PEOPLE reved up about these things? Are we just sick of fighting, or do we actually believe there is a reason why we are not offered free health care? or we are now not offering those people who volunteered durring 9/11 help with their health problems? How can we let our elderly be dropped off at homeless shelters because they have no insurance?

question. Why is there not been a solution to ridding all of us from this worthless, deadly and addictive product we all seem to love to hate? I personally don't think any smoker really "wants" to smoke at this point. I believe that either the addictive quality has made it near impossible to give up without, for the majority of us, extreme willpower and aids to reduce the withdrawal. I am a single mom with no child-support. You should know by my profile that it's not because I didn't try to get CS and it's my next topic of attack as the laws governing CS are "broken" to say the least. I have no room in my budget for expensive Stop Smoking Products, which by the way the FDA does govern. That alone fully admits on their part that they classifiy Nicotine as a drug. My question is are we willing, as a society, to let wrong be right if it involves money? Is it right one deadly product passes through but others are "called on the carpet" and dismissed? Thanks.

In our area, a particular road is infamous for horrible traffic jam bcoz the road is a very busy one but it is narrow and the footpaths are encroached by vegetable vendors. There is a railway bridge passing over the road which also contributes to traffic congestion. The problems can be solved by constructing a 2 km. long flyover over the road and over and above the rail-bridge.

The road is maintained by the State PWD, the encroachment has to be removed by the Municipality, the traffic is controlled by the police, the rail-bridge is maintained by the railway authotity and the flyover will have to be constructed with the approval from two neighbouring Municipalities and State Urban Developement Ministry and State Finance Ministry.

How can I report the matter with my suggestions to appropriate authority and who is the authority? How can I be sure that the officials are not throwing the letter to the waste paper box without reading it properly?

question to tobacco products, otherwise, we could debate forever. One chunk at a time. The real quesition that I have is, How many people, smokers and non-smokers, believe that all of the information was given in a mode that everyone on this planet had access to? I have smoked Philip Morris products for 25 years. At no time, was I informed that the cigarettes I smoked contained food products, flavorings such as licourice, that became carcinogenic when heat/fire was added to their mixture. I was under the assumption the a drug ranked in the top five addictive drugs in the world was under the stipulations of a "Controlled Substance/Drug" classification. I would be given inserts, special instructions by my physician and pharmacy as to the dangers of this drug. I assumed our FDA would instantly remove a product that contained a highly addictive drug, carcinogenic food products, etc. by removing this product from the market. I'm no "Village Idiot". I don't like partial info.
