The great Constitution of the USA was written 'by the people, for the people'. When will the people of the UK finally get one too, or is this forbidden ?

A consitutution for Britain is not some favour granted to us by politicians or elites. It's a right that we must express. A nation without a written consitutution is corrupt. It is in the hands of vested elites and interests. We, the people, are the true sovereignty of Britain. And there was never a time when the people of Britain need to tell politicians and monarchs who is really sovereign. It's a total disgrace that we don't have one. And no, our system does NOT work. It merely sustains vested interests and elites. As centuries of history show.
Get real. Get democracy - by the people and for the people. No argument

Don't tell us we HAVE a Constitution. We don't. We have an unelected head of state. Who runs an unaccountable secret service, military, civil service, etc. who, in turn, preside over Debrett's Peerage, the barons of the media and industry, the landowners and bankers, and, finally, a party system of whips and vested interests. None of this is democracy and it's absurd to argue otherwise. Democracy is what we ain't got.
