The great Constitution of the USA was written 'by the people, for the people'. When will the people of the UK finally get one too, or is this forbidden ?

A consitutution for Britain is not some favour granted to us by politicians or elites. It's a right that we must express. A nation without a written consitutution is corrupt. It is in the hands of vested elites and interests. We, the people, are the true sovereignty of Britain. And there was never a time when the people of Britain need to tell politicians and monarchs who is really sovereign. It's a total disgrace that we don't have one. And no, our system does NOT work. It merely sustains vested interests and elites. As centuries of history show.

Get real. Get democracy - by the people and for the people. No argument

Don't tell us we HAVE a Constitution. We don't. We have an unelected head of state. Who runs an unaccountable secret service, military, civil service, etc. who, in turn, preside over Debrett's Peerage, the barons of the media and industry, the landowners and bankers, and, finally, a party system of whips and vested interests. None of this is democracy and it's absurd to argue otherwise. Democracy is what we ain't got.

The British must stage a revolution so that they could change the government and make their own constitution.

Why do you think the UK needs a written Constitution when it has survived successfully without one. The perceived experience of written constiotutions is that they are inflexible, need to be changed on a regular basis and are hardly representative of peoples' aspirations - rather written constitutions represent the controllng needs of vested interests in a country.

For a start the US Consitution was written by six men. I hardly think you can say it was written by the people. For example a referendum on the US Consitution. The UK has what is knowing as a un-written Consitution.

Does the folks in UK know how to rule and lead in guiding a flock of lost sheeps wandering lost and stop them from jumping over the cliff?
Without the shepherd and his wooden staff?
Think they can manage it?
Look in the real world.
When they crown themselves as the men who would be king with all the mess out there.
Be wise to let "Mama" guide them home.

What do you think?
