i was fired from a prison system for inmate/employee relationship in tx. what is the statue of limitations? this is a felony and i have been waiting to see what they plan on doing with me but they keep dragging their feet and haven't filed formal charges yet.
my life has been on hold for 4 yrs and everytime someone else gets hit, it sets me up for all kinds of physical illnesses. (a stroke the last time.) i just want it over and they won't quit dragging it out. as i asked: waht is the statute of limitations?

State Attorney General Bill Lockyer said last month that Mexican drug traffickers are using marijuana profits "to finance the production and distribution of methamphetamine" nationwide.

Without the state's Campaign Against Marijuana Planting - a coordinated effort involving more than 100 local, state and federal drug agencies - Lockyer said the situation would quickly worsen.

Noe and other drug agents described how thousands of illegal Mexican nationals are smuggled across the border into rural areas of California, where their sole purpose is to grow, guard and harvest marijuana.

Noe said the men are provided guns, food and campsites. They're paid up to $10,000 cash for their seasonal marijuana work, which typically runs from April through October, agents said.

Noe said that for the crime families, it's a less risky way of doing business.

Do liberals sue homeowners who put nativity scenes in their front yards?

I put a nativity in my yard every year. I've not had a problem (I'm a liberal). I also have many crosses and a picture of the Last Supper in my home. I have never sued someone, nor have I known another liberal who has.

Any other liberals sued someone over a Christmas display?

The family lives in Texas but he was living in Idaho for some time now like 20 years. He was about 45 and today we got a phone call saying they found his body outside a motel room. He was a loner, never gave anybody his phone number and only came down to see the family on Christmas. He doesnt have any kids and he wasnt married. We dont even know what he was doing at the motel he was at. Now my Grandpa is In Idaho taking care of the body part of it. But my grandpa is 76 years old and really doesnt have much money to bring his body down here etc...... My sister worked in a convenience store. Last night she found some money lying on the floor @ her place of work. She picked it up as most people would have. When she came home, she had a male friend over. This morning she couldn't find the money. She believes the man who came over stole it from her. When she went to work today, she was fired & her boss told her that she was calling the law for "theft". Apparently the one who lost the money, came in the store asking about it. They said they looked @ the survellence tape & saw her pick it up. She cant find the money to return it. Her now ex-boss is scaring her to death telling her that she's going to be going to jail. She said the cops would be by, but that was about 5 hours ago & no cops have came. I don't believe finding money on the floor could be considered stealing. I think she's just trying to scare her. We live in TN. Anyone who is familiar with the law, please give us some insight on this. Thank you.(only serious answers please)

Last nite I was arrrested, and bonded out after being held for 12 hrs. I have witnesses that proves that I was no where near this wacko. Better yet, the same day she filed the report on me was the same day within one hr that I went to the police department and attempted to press charges against her for stealing money out of my bank account, via E-Check transfer...isnt that a felony??
The police are doing absolutley nothing....
I want to file a complaint against the police and whoever else that is involved.
How can I get her arrested ASAP and how do I go about contacting the Internal Affairs to file a complaint against the incompetent police officers..
Isnt it their job to apprehend someone that breaks the law and I have proof from the bank??

I am having trouble with my daughter's elementary school and thier mandatory uniform policy. Last year, I was able to sign the waiver to opt-out of it, and we had no further problems. This year, however, they are really hassling me. They are saying they are going to transfer her to a different school that does'nt have uniforms, or that they will make her change, but that is not acceptable to me, and it is illegal. I need to know, from parents that have dealt with this issue, or from kids whose parents had the same problems, any tips or advice on what to do next. I live in California, and I am planning on calling the ACLU tomorrow, but in the mean time, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
