Last nite I was arrrested, and bonded out after being held for 12 hrs. I have witnesses that proves that I was no where near this wacko. Better yet, the same day she filed the report on me was the same day within one hr that I went to the police department and attempted to press charges against her for stealing money out of my bank account, via E-Check transfer...isnt that a felony??
The police are doing absolutley nothing....
I want to file a complaint against the police and whoever else that is involved.
How can I get her arrested ASAP and how do I go about contacting the Internal Affairs to file a complaint against the incompetent police officers..
Isnt it their job to apprehend someone that breaks the law and I have proof from the bank??

First of all, I want to tell you that even though this may look horrible on your end at the moment,--You CAN get justice!!!
You absolutely need to proceed very carefully though.
If you were arrested for battery or domestic violence, you will have a "No contact" order which forbids you from doing anything harmful or vindictive against her. Having her arrested (even if you have proof) is vindictive. You will though be able to press charges after you are cleared, and also this evidence will help you in court.
My Son had the exact same thing happen to him, and it took ALOT of time and tears, but we did get the case thrown out, and we then went after his accuser. She had stolen his checkbook, and done similar acts as your accuser.
Whatever you do, if you are innocent,--never, ever settle, or accept a plea agreement!! The State Attorney threatened my Son with additional charges, and even prison, but he stood his ground, and you should too.
Good Luck Sweetie!!

Well I would just make sure you have your lawyer subpoena those witnesses since you will be fighting that charge in court. If what you say is true, you will win.
As for the girlfriend stealing money out of your account, thats a little more tricky. I'm sure the police told you something which is why you attempted ( to me meaning they wouldn't take the report) because she is your girlfriend. If you ever let her use your card before, whether or not her name is on the account, and she has been given your password before, is more of a civil situation, and would be extremely hard to prove in court. It's not ike you dont know her, and she did that because that is a felony, and it's more black and white for the DA.
Filing a complaint with Internal Affairs.
All you should have to do, is go down to the department, and complete a formal complaint form, which you then submit to a desk officer. Depending on if there is an IA officer present at the station, you could speak with them or, they could just transfer your call, and have you speak directly with someone.

Hoped this helped.

Stay far away from all that mess, leave town,if able to after court date?? I know it sounds weak, but it is not.You need to get away from all that ......do not try and get her in trouble if it was not much money.Do you really want to spend the rest of your life in courts and jail and lawyers and, etc??Start fresh..you deserve it,and she will get her just rewards",In time",not your time...
(But do get your own lawyer ,for {{your}} case)

dont waste your time on yahoo answers!

go find a good lawyer. ask around, friends and family for a good name, and call them. they'll give you better info then anyone on here. because he'll know your case, and will have to research her case.
