ill pop my hand in the cage, and the one that fears me will either lick me in confusion, but almost always in fear, like when i pop the cage door and reach for him, hell squint, and go defence, and i get close to him, and hell hover araound the tip of my finger, snaping back every few times, like hes afraid like ill electrocute him or something. i never knew what he did this for, and it doesnt matter what i smell like, like i just get out of the shower and i put my finger in there, and he licks it, almost nonstop, untill he gets bored, and my finger is all wet, and it doesnt matter what i smell like or have touchedm as far as i know. what does it mean or what is he doing to my finger, and why? he is a russian dwarf hamster, and has a mentally retarded cage mate, i mean like low iq for even a hamster, like ill pick him up, and hell keep walking or reaching for the ground, he doesnt know hes being lifted by a living thing, so he sees no point in biting, ever, even when he was brand new.

I love all creatures so it's hard for me to say. However I'm a big cat and dog fan. I also think ducks are absolutely adorable. Especially when the mom's walk around with the chicks following behind!

They are about 2-3 months old now. When they were in the play pen together, they got along fine, and they rolled around and fought a couple of times, then I put them back to their cages. Maybe they aren't ready yet, or they may not be in heat yet??

does anyone know of a totally awesome and super hamster cage, and another separate cage for a robo hamster, one cage for the robo, and another for the 2 Russian dwarfs, i need a bigger one that the my first home kit thingy, i have 2 houses, and they don't fight a lot, unless its out of jealousy, i admit, i do take one out more than the other, but the other ones mean, and im working on hes attitude, anyway, i need 2 cages, one for the robo, and another one for the 2 dwarfs, and each cage needs to be under 70, but i would like one araound 50 or 40, but dont let that stop you from posting your cages, oh, and also, if you post an 'i dont like hamsters' or 'i dont know' ill report you for spam. also, a website that has alot of info and images would be healpful, easy to clean would be nice andspacey for the dwarfs, they like wandering.

Or is all work through these organizations volunteer? The reason I ask is because I LOVE animals and want to work in an animal related career. I'm getting my human resource degree next year. Are there paying HR jobs at those types of organizations?

I am new in the horse boarding business. I am getting my first customer who is going to board a 3 year old gelding with me. I don't really have any experience with boarding or grooming horses, but have fed horses before and I really love them. What do I need to do and what do I need to get to make this horse boarding like all other small horse boarders? ( what to charge, etc.) This is a family friend who is allowing me to take care of his horse, so I know some of you will say " you really should have experience of working with horses, before you actually get in the business." i know, but this is for me to get the hang of it, im only doing this one until i can handle others. so please i am just asking what supplies do i need , including feeding troughs, and how much do i charge for this one boarding. all i am told to do buy customer is put him in a stall at night , feed him, clean his stall everyday, let him in pasture everyday. i live in minnesota if it helps out with an estimate.

I had them in the living room and a wild one got in the house.I moved to the basement, and wild one dug under the house some how. I moved them to an outside garage and now my pet Rats are passing food through the cages to the wild ones. I don't like poison cause they crawl off and die and stink.
