I live in Chicago and i am loking for a buinea pig. i wanted to know if you knew a website to rescue adopt or lokk at difrent guinea pigs.

Guinea pigs are fun. I used to have them many years ago when I was young. I got mine at the local pet store. One morning I woke up and the Guinea pigs had 4 babies.

It's nice you want to adopt a piggie, but beware some of them don't make transitions very well. Some times they can't take the change in their cages and food. It stresses them out so bad their systems shut down. I just want you to be aware of that in adopting a piggie. Look in your phone book for your local humane society.

I would recommend getting one with shorter hair, i used to have one that shed really bad and gave my sister allergies

go to any pet store and if they dont have them they can refer you to a place where you can find one for you
