hamsters are solitary animals. no matter if they grow up with one another, there will always be one that will establish there dominance over the other.

since they are males that is most likely the case. if one is already injured you need to separate them. if the fighting has turned badly, then you better do it real soon.

if you have a dwarf hamster you need to do just that. i work in a pet store and i've seen what male dwarf hamsters can do to one another. not a pretty sight.

merely calm down the following, the first ingredient you opt to do is positioned some variety of bandage (gently dabbed with neosporin or some variety of anti-biotic cream/spray) over the wound so as that it doesn't get contaminated. call your vet or an animal hospital with a view to be certain Buttercup and get her fastened up. be confident to computer screen her and be confident she's no longer in any soreness or tries to chew on her leg. in case you won't be able to get to the vet right this moment, merely watch her and adjust out her bandages even as necessary. i'm no specialist, yet I had a hamster for a lengthy time period, so i desire i have helped!

they are fighting because to eachother, one is an invader, and the other one 'ownz' the cage, and thats what they both think, hams arent usually capable with living in pairs unless they are really young or born together.

my sugestion is to make a cage out of a box and use that as a temporary cage, untill you can get a new cage. if they are drawing blood, or fighting seperate them immedatily!

for one being kin to each other does nothing. when grown the male instincttakes over and both become territorial you need to seperate them as soon as possible. and only put a female in with the male during mating remove shortly after, she will eat the males sack off. seriously.

female or male female seem to be more aggesive then male she may be frigtened by you use sweet things like peantbutter on celery to slowly tyme her also hamsters don;t like to share space so if theres more than one it sze should be 20 gallon tank size for taratorys

Hamsters are very solitary animals by nature, and they will almost always fight one another if kept together, even if they are littermates. Please spare them any further trauma and get one of them another cage so they can be separate or else get rid of one of them.

Oh my gosh
please seperate them
Hamsters live alone and will fight to the death for territory, especially if they are male.
You have to seperate them ASAP!
