I have experience of all the animals i will rescue(ferrets, cavies, hamsters, rats, mice, chins, degus) apart from rabbits, which i am trying to gather info on, policies outlining a no-kill stance, expectations of adopters and adoption policy, including home visits, and surrender and adoption forms ready. I am still saving and fundraising the money to start. I will be doing a formal animal care qualification before i start as well. Have i missed anything?

My all time dream is to own a Zebra. I went to the Savanah and we got to ride them!! I love those stripes! They hypnotize me and I fell in love with the Zebra I was riding. Like literally fall in love with him! Like cupid!! But then I had to leave the Savanah and it broke my heart that I had to leave my love. However, I still think that zebras are so hott! Has anyone else had a similar experience!?

The house is fenced with an electric wire and they still try to tear it up and kill the rabbits but they do not eat the rabbits they just kill then.

We already have dogs, fish, don't want cats. We had a rabbit and tried mice but both stunk unless I cleaned their cages daily. I don't want anything too smelly. My kids are 5 and 9 so they can care for it.

Last Question for today is as above, took me a while to think of it, about an hour, you heard me "do some animals go to heaven?"
Im not saying wild animals in forests.
I mean are much loved pets, even if it's another relm they go to, Ponys, dogs, cats why not?

I rescued a draft from the killpen in May. He has bad canker in his front hoof. This is NOT thrush.

Has anyone cured or treated this?

Is surgery the only option?

Do you have any in-depth (non beginner) articles, books, or references I could read on the topic?
