I believe the "House Rabbit Society" is national. They have chapters in almost all cities. You may want to contact them. They work to find homes for rabbits as house pets. Rabbits can be litterbox trained and this helps them find loving homes rather than one where they're locked away in a cage and give no attention. You may want to look into that group.

animal shelter is one place you can take them, you can also place an ad in the classified section of the paper saying you have two rabbits to get rid of. Also word of mouth, let people know you are moving and let them spread the words you have free rabbits to give away. Also phone pre-schools and day cares and ask if they can place an ad in the newspaper saying you have two rabbits to give away. What ever you do don't let them loose they well not survive and if you do let them loose they might cause envorinmental and crop damage. One farmer in the lower mainland of British Columbia of Canada has lost $30,000.00 in crops damage due to rabbits who have bred after being left loose by their former owners.

Local animal rescues. Check on Petfinder.com to see if there are rabbit rescues (or just rescues that take rabbits). You can also post an ad on Petfinder.com and Craigslist.org to try and find a good home for them, yourself.

Try to find a small animal rescue in your area, petfinder.com has a listing of rescues so you could look there. If you take them to the animal shelter, they won't be as well cared for. Most rescues screen the adopters to find the best home for your bunnies.

The Spca can take them and then try to find a good family to adopt them.

you can always post them on petfinder.com. It is a really good pet adoption website, but I would recomend donating them to your local SPCA.

But actually, if you take them to these shelters, they'll wind up in the same place unless they are adopted within days. These aren't orphanages.
