only size of tip of my finger mother dead no fur feeding it kitten milk with glucose in it at the mo but what do i feed it when it gets older how long does it take before its on solid food and how long before i can let it go into the wild?

I would take it to a wildlife rehabiliatation specialist. that will give it it's best chance for survival. They know what they are doing.

Sorry, but if you're in England you need to be licensed to handle a bat. It needs secialist care that you just can't give it. What happens when its old enough to fly? You're not a bat and you can't show it where to hiberbate or survive.
Please call the RSPCA immediately and let them get it to one of the few experts who know how to look after it. They'll keep you in touch with its progress.

If you're in England, then it's against the law to interfere with bats. But anyway, I think you should get in touch with a specialist rescue centre if it's to have any chance of surviving. Your local general animal rescue centre should be able to help there.

Feed it live insects when it gets bigger-thats what they eat.
Be careful though they can carry rabies. Check out the link below.
